The Engine overhaul facility, is a self-contained workshop with its own allocated tools and manuals.
It is located in the big workshop where the Gyros are maintained. The engine can be removed and relocated to the engine room.
The room is dust proof and temperature controlled. It is utilized within the manufactures recommended 25deg Celcius when doing overhauls and having to mate precision surfaces. It also ensures that bolts are torqued to the required standard.
The facility is equipped with a wood and aluminium topped work bench and has all the required calibrated measuring and torque equipment available. A wide selection of engine components are also kept in stock. This ensures a quick turn-around.
